Mr. Gilmour is an executive advisor with Catalyst in Los Angeles, specializing in Supply Chain Management.

Mr. Gilmour has over 20 years experience in supply chain management, including: leading project management teams, IT development, internet fulfillment and sales, TQM initiatives, warehousing and distribution, reverse logistics, purchasing and vendor relations, transportation management, imports, 3PL selection, and multiple software implementation.

Mr. Gilmour has managed multiple distribution centers ranging from 500,000 to 1.3 million square feet; he has developed state-of-the-art logistics solutions for global clients; he has developed returns management reverse logistics plans and alternative transportation networks; and he has led the transition of a major distribution network from a parent company to a standalone operation.

Mr. Gilmour’s representative clients have included Sears, Roebuck; FedEx Nike, HomePlace, Adidas, Champion Paper, Dial Corp., and Teledyne. Best Buy, Staples, Wherehouse Entertainment and Toys ‘R Us.

Mr. Gilmour is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Entertainment Supply Chain Professionals, and the Warehouse Education Research Council. He earned a certificate in strategic logistic management from the University of Tennessee, and holds a BA from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
